Remember...

We were walking and my earring fell out. By the time I noticed, it was gone behind us somewhere. You wanted to look for it, I didn't. Isn't that a funny thing to remember?

Fearless Editor #1 Shows How It's Done

"On the Run"
Sam leaves tomorrow. Bags are packed, bills paid, no forwarding address. Finally, Lucy will know a real, live fugitive.

"A Writer"
I'm finding I love the cliche. And we all lived happily ever after. At least, that's the way I wrote it.

"Note from the Desk of Icarus"
I can't fly, but I'm trying anyways. I want a closed casket.

"The Birthday Party"
"You lost your Bounce-House privileges after that last axe-murdering rampage. You can wait by the punch while the rest of us have fun."
"Aw, Mom."

"Don't Worry, He Can See Us"
Sending his corpse to the moon was a great idea. "See that man in the moon? That's where Daddy went, sweetheart."

Some Seriously Wonderful Micro-Fiction

"He was always unpopular when he spoke, but even more so when he kept quiet."

"The only regret she had about the whole relationship was that she probably couldn't listen to Lil' Wayne anymore. At least, not without crying."

"I've always wanted the whole population of the Earth to jump in unison. To make a sound that could be heard by anyone."

"For 3 seconds, her eyes said yes, which crushed him beyond belief, by the time the 4th second rolled around."

A bunch of things to Ponder

A Punctuated Pronouncement
The semi-colon, fed up at being misunderstood, announced today that he was leaving his post. Grammar may count but it can't be counted on.

The Lost Generation
The lonely zombie relaxed as the television throbbed. Trying meant success or failure and there was too much baggage attached to both.

On Loyalty
The dog lay woefully in ash. He could still smell his master.

A Life Embraced
The young man was glamored by the glint of the guillotine. He embraced euphoria.

A Soldiers Ghost
White dust fell from the waking man's mouth. He stepped out of bed to greet the blender as an old friend.

The Bonds of Love
She sat on the bench looking across the park, her aged hand brushed the worn spot to her right. For the next half hour she was not alone.

To Deliver One From Evil
Tears fell off his cheeks as he dirtied his knees, everyone he loved surrounded him. He could only mutter one word: Atheist.

Phillies: An American Institution
Cherished for reality; Shattered by celebrity. Hopper Broke.

The Feline Perspective
Schrödinger's world is destroyed; Schrödinger's world is not destroyed

In A Different World

"I assume everything in life. I end up living in a world different than everyone else; everything that I'm living for hasn't happened yet."
